Flenory co-founded a drug distribution organization in Detroit in the late 1980s with his younger brother Terry "Southwest T" Flenory.[3] The organization, which became known as the Black Mafia Family shortly into the 21st century,[3] eventually extended as far as Los Angeles and Atlanta[4] and was involved in large-scale trafficking of cocaine throughout the United States from 1990 through 2005.[1]
Flenory was arrested in 2005 and had been sentenced to a total of 30 years by 2008 for drug trafficking and money laundering.[1] He is currently incarcerated in the USP Atlanta prison, with a projected release date of February 25, 2032.[5]
